الٓمٓر ۚ
alif-lam-meem-raAlif Laam Mim Ra
تِلْكَ
til'kaThese
ءَايَـٰتُ
āyātu(are) the Verses
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ۗ
l-kitābi(of) the Book
وَٱلَّذِىٓ
wa-alladhīAnd that which
أُنزِلَ
unzilahas been revealed
إِلَيْكَ
ilaykato you
مِن
minfrom
رَّبِّكَ
rabbikayour Lord
ٱلْحَقُّ
l-ḥaqu(is) the truth
وَلَـٰكِنَّ
walākinnabut
أَكْثَرَ
aktharamost
ٱلنَّاسِ
l-nāsi(of) the mankind
لَا
(do) not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnabelieve
١
(1)
Alif, Lām, Meem, Rā. These are the verses of the Book; and what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, but most of the people do not believe.

ٱللَّهُ
al-lahuAllah
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī(is) the One Who
رَفَعَ
rafaʿaraised
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwātithe heavens
بِغَيْرِ
bighayriwithout
عَمَدٍۢ
ʿamadinpillars
تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ
tarawnahāthat you see
ثُمَّ
thummathen
ٱسْتَوَىٰ
is'tawāHe established
عَلَى
ʿalāon
ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ
l-ʿarshithe Throne
وَسَخَّرَ
wasakharaand subjected
ٱلشَّمْسَ
l-shamsathe sun
وَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖ
wal-qamaraand the moon
كُلٌّۭ
kulluneach
يَجْرِى
yajrīrunning
لِأَجَلٍۢ
li-ajalinfor a term
مُّسَمًّۭى ۚ
musammanappointed
يُدَبِّرُ
yudabbiruHe arranges
ٱلْأَمْرَ
l-amrathe matter
يُفَصِّلُ
yufaṣṣiluHe details
ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ
l-āyātithe Signs
لَعَلَّكُم
laʿallakumso that you may
بِلِقَآءِ
biliqāiin the meeting
رَبِّكُمْ
rabbikum(with) your Lord
تُوقِنُونَ
tūqinūnabelieve with certainty
٢
(2)
It is Allāh who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see; then He established Himself above the Throne and made subject the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. He arranges [each] matter; He details the signs that you may, of the meeting with your Lord, be certain.

وَهُوَ
wahuwaAnd He
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī(is) the One Who
مَدَّ
maddaspread
ٱلْأَرْضَ
l-arḍathe earth
وَجَعَلَ
wajaʿalaand placed
فِيهَا
fīhāin it
رَوَٰسِىَ
rawāsiyafirm mountains
وَأَنْهَـٰرًۭا ۖ
wa-anhāranand rivers
وَمِن
waminand from
كُلِّ
kulliall
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
l-thamarāti(of) the fruits
جَعَلَ
jaʿalaHe made
فِيهَا
fīhāin it
زَوْجَيْنِ
zawjaynipairs
ٱثْنَيْنِ ۖ
ith'naynitwo
يُغْشِى
yugh'shīHe covers
ٱلَّيْلَ
al-laylathe night
ٱلنَّهَارَ ۚ
l-nahāra(with) the day
إِنَّ
innaIndeed
فِى
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālikathat
لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ
laāyātinsurely (are) Signs
لِّقَوْمٍۢ
liqawminfor a people
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkarūnawho ponder
٣
(3)
And it is He who spread the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains and rivers; and from all of the fruits He made therein two mates; He causes the night to cover the day. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

وَفِى
wafīAnd in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
l-arḍithe earth
قِطَعٌۭ
qiṭaʿunare tracks
مُّتَجَـٰوِرَٰتٌۭ
mutajāwirātunneighboring
وَجَنَّـٰتٌۭ
wajannātunand gardens
مِّنْ
minof
أَعْنَـٰبٍۢ
aʿnābingrapevines
وَزَرْعٌۭ
wazarʿunand crops
وَنَخِيلٌۭ
wanakhīlunand date-palms
صِنْوَانٌۭ
ṣin'wānuntrees (growing) from a single root
وَغَيْرُ
waghayruand not
صِنْوَانٍۢ
ṣin'wānintrees (growing) from a single root
يُسْقَىٰ
yus'qāwatered
بِمَآءٍۢ
bimāinwith water
وَٰحِدٍۢ
wāḥidinone
وَنُفَضِّلُ
wanufaḍḍilubut We cause to exceed
بَعْضَهَا
baʿḍahāsome of them
عَلَىٰ
ʿalāover
بَعْضٍۢ
baʿḍinothers
فِى
in
ٱلْأُكُلِ ۚ
l-ukulithe fruit
إِنَّ
innaIndeed
فِى
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālikathat
لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ
laāyātinsurely (are) Signs
لِّقَوْمٍۢ
liqawminfor a people
يَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnawho use reason
٤
(4)
And within the land are neighboring plots and gardens of grapevines and crops and palm trees, [growing] several from a root or otherwise, watered with one water; but We make some of them exceed others in [quality of] fruit. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.

۞ وَإِن
wa-inAnd if
تَعْجَبْ
taʿjabyou (are) astonished
فَعَجَبٌۭ
faʿajabunthen astonishing
قَوْلُهُمْ
qawluhum(is) their saying
أَءِذَا
a-idhāWhen
كُنَّا
kunnāwe are
تُرَٰبًا
turābandust
أَءِنَّا
a-innāwill we
لَفِى
lafī(be) indeed, in
خَلْقٍۢ
khalqina creation
جَدِيدٍ ۗ
jadīdinnew
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāikaThose
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna(are) the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarūdisbelieved
بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ
birabbihimin their Lord
وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
wa-ulāikaand those
ٱلْأَغْلَـٰلُ
l-aghlāluthe iron chains
فِىٓ
(will be) in
أَعْنَاقِهِمْ ۖ
aʿnāqihimtheir necks
وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
wa-ulāikathose
أَصْحَـٰبُ
aṣḥābu(are the) companions
ٱلنَّارِ ۖ
l-nāri(of) the Fire
هُمْ
humthey
فِيهَا
fīhāin it
خَـٰلِدُونَ
khālidūna(will) abide forever
٥
(5)
And if you are astonished, [O Muḥammad] - then astonishing is their saying, "When we are dust, will we indeed be [brought] into a new creation?" Those are the ones who have disbelieved in their Lord, and those will have shackles upon their necks, and those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ
wayastaʿjilūnakaAnd they ask you to hasten
بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ
bil-sayi-atithe evil
قَبْلَ
qablabefore
ٱلْحَسَنَةِ
l-ḥasanatithe good
وَقَدْ
waqadand verily
خَلَتْ
khalathas occurred
مِن
minfrom
قَبْلِهِمُ
qablihimubefore them
ٱلْمَثُلَـٰتُ ۗ
l-mathulātu[the] similar punishments
وَإِنَّ
wa-innaAnd indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbakayour Lord
لَذُو
ladhū(is) full
مَغْفِرَةٍۢ
maghfiratin(of) forgiveness
لِّلنَّاسِ
lilnnāsifor mankind
عَلَىٰ
ʿalāfor
ظُلْمِهِمْ ۖ
ẓul'mihimtheir wrongdoing
وَإِنَّ
wa-innaand indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbakayour Lord
لَشَدِيدُ
lashadīdu(is) severe
ٱلْعِقَابِ
l-ʿiqābi(in) the penalty
٦
(6)
They impatiently urge you to bring about evil before good, while there has already occurred before them similar punishments [to what they demand]. And indeed, your Lord is the possessor of forgiveness for the people despite their wrongdoing, and indeed, your Lord is severe in penalty.

وَيَقُولُ
wayaqūluAnd say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnathose who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarūdisbelieved
لَوْلَآ
lawlāWhy not
أُنزِلَ
unzilahas been sent down
عَلَيْهِ
ʿalayhito him
ءَايَةٌۭ
āyatuna sign
مِّن
minfrom
رَّبِّهِۦٓ ۗ
rabbihihis Lord
إِنَّمَآ
innamāOnly
أَنتَ
antayou
مُنذِرٌۭ ۖ
mundhirun(are) a warner
وَلِكُلِّ
walikulliand for every
قَوْمٍ
qawminpeople
هَادٍ
hādin(is) a guide
٧
(7)
And those who disbelieved say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" You are only a warner, and for every people is a guide.

ٱللَّهُ
al-lahuAllah
يَعْلَمُ
yaʿlamuknows
مَا
what
تَحْمِلُ
taḥmilucarries
كُلُّ
kulluevery
أُنثَىٰ
unthāfemale
وَمَا
wamāand what
تَغِيضُ
taghīḍufall short
ٱلْأَرْحَامُ
l-arḥāmuthe womb
وَمَا
wamāand what
تَزْدَادُ ۖ
tazdāduthey exceed
وَكُلُّ
wakulluAnd every
شَىْءٍ
shayinthing
عِندَهُۥ
ʿindahuwith Him
بِمِقْدَارٍ
bimiq'dārin(is) in due proportion
٨
(8)
Allāh knows what every female carries and what the wombs lose [prematurely] or exceed. And everything with Him is by due measure.

عَـٰلِمُ
ʿālimuKnower
ٱلْغَيْبِ
l-ghaybi(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ
wal-shahādatiand the witnessed
ٱلْكَبِيرُ
l-kabīruthe Most Great
ٱلْمُتَعَالِ
l-mutaʿālithe Most High
٩
(9)
[He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Grand, the Exalted.

سَوَآءٌۭ
sawāon(It is) same (to Him)
مِّنكُم
minkum[of you]
مَّنْ
man(one) who
أَسَرَّ
asarraconceals
ٱلْقَوْلَ
l-qawlathe speech
وَمَن
wamanor (one) who
جَهَرَ
jaharapublicizes
بِهِۦ
bihiit
وَمَنْ
wamanand (one) who
هُوَ
huwa[he]
مُسْتَخْفٍۭ
mus'takhfin(is) hidden
بِٱلَّيْلِ
bi-al-layliby night
وَسَارِبٌۢ
wasāribunor goes freely
بِٱلنَّهَارِ
bil-nahāriby day
١٠
(10)
It is the same [to Him] concerning you whether one conceals [his] speech or publicizes it and whether one is hidden by night or conspicuous [among others] by day.

لَهُۥ

مُعَقِّبَـٰتٌۭ
muʿaqqibātun(are) successive (Angels)
مِّنۢ
minfrom
بَيْنِ
bayni(before)
يَدَيْهِ
yadayhi(him)
وَمِنْ
waminand from
خَلْفِهِۦ
khalfihiand behind him
يَحْفَظُونَهُۥ
yaḥfaẓūnahuwho guard him
مِنْ
minby
أَمْرِ
amri(the) command
ٱللَّهِ ۗ
l-lahi(of) Allah
إِنَّ
innaIndeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
لَا
(does) not
يُغَيِّرُ
yughayyiruchange
مَا
(the condition)
بِقَوْمٍ
biqawminof a people
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattāuntil
يُغَيِّرُوا۟
yughayyirūthey change
مَا
what
بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ
bi-anfusihim(is) in themselves
وَإِذَآ
wa-idhāAnd when
أَرَادَ
arādawills
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahuAllah
بِقَوْمٍۢ
biqawminfor a people
سُوٓءًۭا
sūanmisfortune
فَلَا
falāthen (there is) no
مَرَدَّ
maraddaturning away
لَهُۥ ۚ
lahuof it
وَمَا
wamāand not
لَهُم
lahumfor them
مِّن
minfrom
دُونِهِۦ
dūnihibesides Him
مِن
minany
وَالٍ
wālinprotector
١١
(11)
For him [i.e., each one] are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allāh. Indeed, Allāh will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allāh intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.

هُوَ
huwaHe
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī(is) the One Who
يُرِيكُمُ
yurīkumushows you
ٱلْبَرْقَ
l-barqathe lightning
خَوْفًۭا
khawfana fear
وَطَمَعًۭا
waṭamaʿanand a hope
وَيُنشِئُ
wayunshi-uand brings up
ٱلسَّحَابَ
l-saḥābathe clouds
ٱلثِّقَالَ
l-thiqālathe heavy
١٢
(12)
It is He who shows you lightning, [causing] fear and aspiration, and generates the heavy clouds.

وَيُسَبِّحُ
wayusabbiḥuAnd glorifies
ٱلرَّعْدُ
l-raʿduthe thunder
بِحَمْدِهِۦ
biḥamdihiwith his praise
وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ
wal-malāikatuand the Angels
مِنْ
minfor
خِيفَتِهِۦ
khīfatihifear of Him
وَيُرْسِلُ
wayur'siluAnd He sends
ٱلصَّوَٰعِقَ
l-ṣawāʿiqathe thunderbolts
فَيُصِيبُ
fayuṣībuand strikes
بِهَا
bihāwith it
مَن
manwhom
يَشَآءُ
yashāuHe wills
وَهُمْ
wahumyet they
يُجَـٰدِلُونَ
yujādilūnadispute
فِى
about
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahiAllah
وَهُوَ
wahuwaAnd He
شَدِيدُ
shadīdu(is) Mighty
ٱلْمِحَالِ
l-miḥāli(in) Strength
١٣
(13)
And the thunder exalts [Allāh] with praise of Him - and the angels [as well] from fear of Him - and He sends thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom He wills while they dispute about Allāh; and He is severe in assault.

دَعْوَةُ
daʿwatu(is) supplication
ٱلْحَقِّ ۖ
l-ḥaqi(of) the truth
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīnaAnd those whom
يَدْعُونَ
yadʿūnathey invoke
مِن
minbesides Him
دُونِهِۦ
dūnihibesides Him
لَا
not
يَسْتَجِيبُونَ
yastajībūnathey respond
لَهُم
lahumto them
بِشَىْءٍ
bishayinwith a thing
إِلَّا
illāexcept
كَبَـٰسِطِ
kabāsiṭilike one who stretches
كَفَّيْهِ
kaffayhihis hands
إِلَى
ilātowards
ٱلْمَآءِ
l-māiwater
لِيَبْلُغَ
liyablughato reach
فَاهُ
fāhuhis mouth
وَمَا
wamābut not
هُوَ
huwait
بِبَـٰلِغِهِۦ ۚ
bibālighihireaches it
وَمَا
wamāAnd not
دُعَآءُ
duʿāu(is) the supplication
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīna(of) the disbelievers
إِلَّا
illābut
فِى
in
ضَلَـٰلٍۢ
ḍalālinerror
١٤
(14)
To Him [alone] is the supplication of truth. And those they call upon besides Him do not respond to them with a thing, except as one who stretches his hands toward water [from afar, calling it] to reach his mouth, but it will not reach it [thus]. And the supplication of the disbelievers is not but in error [i.e., futility].

وَلِلَّهِ
walillahiAnd to Allah
يَسْجُدُ
yasjuduprostrates
مَن
manwhoever
فِى
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwātithe heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
wal-arḍiand the earth
طَوْعًۭا
ṭawʿanwillingly
وَكَرْهًۭا
wakarhanor unwillingly
وَظِلَـٰلُهُم
waẓilāluhumand (so do) their shadows
بِٱلْغُدُوِّ
bil-ghuduwiin the mornings
وَٱلْـَٔاصَالِ ۩
wal-āṣāliand in the afternoons
١٥
(15)
And to Allāh prostrates whoever is within the heavens and the earth, willingly or by compulsion, and their shadows [as well] in the mornings and the afternoons.

قُلْ
qulSay
مَن
manWho
رَّبُّ
rabbu(is) the Lord
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwāti(of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
wal-arḍiand the earth
قُلِ
quliSay
ٱللَّهُ ۚ
l-lahuAllah
قُلْ
qulSay
أَفَٱتَّخَذْتُم
afa-ittakhadhtumHave you then taken
مِّن
minfrom
دُونِهِۦٓ
dūnihibesides Him
أَوْلِيَآءَ
awliyāaprotectors
لَا
not
يَمْلِكُونَ
yamlikūnathey have power
لِأَنفُسِهِمْ
li-anfusihimfor themselves
نَفْعًۭا
nafʿan(to) benefit
وَلَا
walāand not
ضَرًّۭا ۚ
ḍarran(to) harm
قُلْ
qulSay
هَلْ
halIs
يَسْتَوِى
yastawīequal
ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ
l-aʿmāthe blind
وَٱلْبَصِيرُ
wal-baṣīruand the seeing
أَمْ
amOr
هَلْ
halis
تَسْتَوِى
tastawīequal
ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتُ
l-ẓulumātuthe darkness[es]
وَٱلنُّورُ ۗ
wal-nūruand the light
أَمْ
amOr
جَعَلُوا۟
jaʿalūthey attribute
لِلَّهِ
lillahito Allah
شُرَكَآءَ
shurakāapartners
خَلَقُوا۟
khalaqūwho created
كَخَلْقِهِۦ
kakhalqihilike His creation
فَتَشَـٰبَهَ
fatashābahaso that seemed alike
ٱلْخَلْقُ
l-khalquthe creation
عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ
ʿalayhimto them
قُلِ
quliSay
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahuAllah
خَـٰلِقُ
khāliqu(is) the Creator
كُلِّ
kulliof all
شَىْءٍۢ
shayinthings
وَهُوَ
wahuwaand He
ٱلْوَٰحِدُ
l-wāḥidu(is) the One
ٱلْقَهَّـٰرُ
l-qahāruthe Irresistible
١٦
(16)
Say, "Who is Lord of the heavens and earth?" Say, "Allāh." Say, "Have you then taken besides Him allies not possessing [even] for themselves any benefit or any harm?" Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Or is darkness equivalent to light? Or have they attributed to Allāh partners who created like His creation so that the creation [of each] seemed similar to them?" Say, "Allāh is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Prevailing."

أَنزَلَ
anzalaHe sends down
مِنَ
minafrom
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
l-samāithe sky
مَآءًۭ
māanwater
فَسَالَتْ
fasālatand flows
أَوْدِيَةٌۢ
awdiyatunthe valleys
بِقَدَرِهَا
biqadarihāaccording to their measure
فَٱحْتَمَلَ
fa-iḥ'tamalaand carries
ٱلسَّيْلُ
l-sayluthe torrent
زَبَدًۭا
zabadana foam
رَّابِيًۭا ۚ
rābiyanrising
وَمِمَّا
wamimmāAnd from what
يُوقِدُونَ
yūqidūnathey heat
عَلَيْهِ
ʿalayhi[on] it
فِى
in
ٱلنَّارِ
l-nārithe fire
ٱبْتِغَآءَ
ib'tighāain order to make
حِلْيَةٍ
ḥil'yatinornaments
أَوْ
awor
مَتَـٰعٍۢ
matāʿinutensils
زَبَدٌۭ
zabaduna foam
مِّثْلُهُۥ ۚ
mith'luhulike it
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhālikaThus
يَضْرِبُ
yaḍribusets forth
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahuAllah
ٱلْحَقَّ
l-ḥaqathe truth
وَٱلْبَـٰطِلَ ۚ
wal-bāṭilaand the falsehood
فَأَمَّا
fa-ammāThen as for
ٱلزَّبَدُ
l-zabaduthe foam
فَيَذْهَبُ
fayadhhabuit passes away
جُفَآءًۭ ۖ
jufāan(as) scum
وَأَمَّا
wa-ammāand as for
مَا
what
يَنفَعُ
yanfaʿubenefits
ٱلنَّاسَ
l-nāsathe mankind
فَيَمْكُثُ
fayamkuthuremains
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ
l-arḍithe earth
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhālikaThus
يَضْرِبُ
yaḍribuAllah sets forth
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahuAllah sets forth
ٱلْأَمْثَالَ
l-amthālathe examples
١٧
(17)
He sends down from the sky, rain, and valleys flow according to their capacity, and the torrent carries a rising foam. And from that [ore] which they heat in the fire, desiring adornments and utensils, is a foam like it. Thus Allāh presents [the example of] truth and falsehood. As for the foam, it vanishes, [being] cast off; but as for that which benefits the people, it remains on the earth. Thus does Allāh present examples.

لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhīnaFor those who
ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟
is'tajābūresponded
لِرَبِّهِمُ
lirabbihimuto their Lord
ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ
l-ḥus'nā(is) the bliss
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīnaAnd for those who
لَمْ
lam(did) not
يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟
yastajībūrespond
لَهُۥ
lahuto Him
لَوْ
lawif
أَنَّ
annathat
لَهُم
lahumthey had
مَّا
whatever
فِى
(is) in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
l-arḍithe earth
جَمِيعًۭا
jamīʿanall
وَمِثْلَهُۥ
wamith'lahuand like of it
مَعَهُۥ
maʿahuwith it
لَٱفْتَدَوْا۟
la-if'tadawsurely they would offer ransom
بِهِۦٓ ۚ
bihiwith it
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāikaThose
لَهُمْ
lahumfor them
سُوٓءُ
sūu(is) a terrible
ٱلْحِسَابِ
l-ḥisābireckoning
وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ
wamawāhumand their abode
جَهَنَّمُ ۖ
jahannamu(is) Hell
وَبِئْسَ
wabi'saand wretched
ٱلْمِهَادُ
l-mihādu(is) the resting place
١٨
(18)
For those who have responded to their Lord is the best [reward], but those who did not respond to Him - if they had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would [attempt to] ransom themselves thereby. Those will have the worst account, and their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place.

۞ أَفَمَن
afamanThen is (he) who
يَعْلَمُ
yaʿlamuknows
أَنَّمَآ
annamāthat which
أُنزِلَ
unzilahas been revealed
إِلَيْكَ
ilaykato you
مِن
minfrom
رَّبِّكَ
rabbikayour Lord
ٱلْحَقُّ
l-ḥaqu(is) the truth
كَمَنْ
kamanlike (one) who
هُوَ
huwa[he]
أَعْمَىٰٓ ۚ
aʿmā(is) blind
إِنَّمَا
innamāOnly
يَتَذَكَّرُ
yatadhakkarupay heed
أُو۟لُوا۟
ulūmen
ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ
l-albābi(of) understanding
١٩
(19)
Then is he who knows that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth like one who is blind? They will only be reminded who are people of understanding -

ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnaThose who
يُوفُونَ
yūfūnafulfill
بِعَهْدِ
biʿahdithe covenant
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi(of) Allah
وَلَا
walāand not
يَنقُضُونَ
yanquḍūnathey break
ٱلْمِيثَـٰقَ
l-mīthāqathe contract
٢٠
(20)
Those who fulfill the covenant of Allāh and do not break the contract,

وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīnaAnd those who
يَصِلُونَ
yaṣilūnajoin
مَآ
what
أَمَرَ
amara(has been) commanded
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu(by) Allah
بِهِۦٓ
bihi[for it]
أَن
anto
يُوصَلَ
yūṣalabe joined
وَيَخْشَوْنَ
wayakhshawnaand fear
رَبَّهُمْ
rabbahumtheir Lord
وَيَخَافُونَ
wayakhāfūnaand are afraid
سُوٓءَ
sūa(of) the evil
ٱلْحِسَابِ
l-ḥisābithe account
٢١
(21)
And those who join that which Allāh has ordered to be joined and fear their Lord and are afraid of the evil of [their] account,

وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīnaAnd those who
صَبَرُوا۟
ṣabarū(are) patient
ٱبْتِغَآءَ
ib'tighāaseeking
وَجْهِ
wajhi(the) Face
رَبِّهِمْ
rabbihim(of) their Lord
وَأَقَامُوا۟
wa-aqāmūand establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
l-ṣalatathe prayer
وَأَنفَقُوا۟
wa-anfaqūand spend
مِمَّا
mimmāfrom what
رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ
razaqnāhumWe have provided them
سِرًّۭا
sirransecretly
وَعَلَانِيَةًۭ
waʿalāniyatanand publicly
وَيَدْرَءُونَ
wayadraūnaand they repel
بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ
bil-ḥasanatiwith the good
ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ
l-sayi-atathe evil
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāikathose
لَهُمْ
lahumfor them
عُقْبَى
ʿuq'bā(is) the final attainment
ٱلدَّارِ
l-dāri(of) the Home
٢٢
(22)
And those who are patient, seeking the face [i.e., acceptance] of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them secretly and publicly and prevent evil with good - those will have the good consequence of [this] home -

جَنَّـٰتُ
jannātuGardens
عَدْنٍۢ
ʿadninof Eden
يَدْخُلُونَهَا
yadkhulūnahāthey will enter them
وَمَن
wamanand whoever
صَلَحَ
ṣalaḥa(were) righteous
مِنْ
minamong
ءَابَآئِهِمْ
ābāihimtheir fathers
وَأَزْوَٰجِهِمْ
wa-azwājihimand their spouses
وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِهِمْ ۖ
wadhurriyyātihimand their offsprings
وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ
wal-malāikatuAnd the Angels
يَدْخُلُونَ
yadkhulūnawill enter
عَلَيْهِم
ʿalayhimupon them
مِّن
minfrom
كُلِّ
kullievery
بَابٍۢ
bābingate
٢٣
(23)
Gardens of perpetual residence; they will enter them with whoever were righteous among their forefathers, their spouses and their descendants. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying],

سَلَـٰمٌ
salāmun(Saying), "Peace
عَلَيْكُم
ʿalaykum(be) upon you
بِمَا
bimāfor what
صَبَرْتُمْ ۚ
ṣabartumyou patiently endured
فَنِعْمَ
faniʿ'maAnd excellent
عُقْبَى
ʿuq'bā(is) the final attainment
ٱلدَّارِ
l-dāri(of) the Home
٢٤
(24)
"Peace [i.e., security] be upon you for what you patiently endured." And excellent is the final home.

وَٱلَّذِينَ

يَنقُضُونَ

عَهْدَ
ʿahdathe covenant
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi(of) Allah
مِنۢ

بَعْدِ
baʿdiafter
مِيثَـٰقِهِۦ
mīthāqihicontracting it
وَيَقْطَعُونَ
wayaqṭaʿūnaand sever
مَآ
what
أَمَرَ
amara(has been) commanded
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu(by) Allah
بِهِۦٓ
bihifor it
أَن
anto
يُوصَلَ
yūṣalabe joined
وَيُفْسِدُونَ
wayuf'sidūnaand spread corruption
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ ۙ
l-arḍithe earth
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāikaThose
لَهُمُ
lahumufor them
ٱللَّعْنَةُ
l-laʿnatu(is) the curse
وَلَهُمْ
walahumand for them
سُوٓءُ
sūu(is) an evil
ٱلدَّارِ
l-dārihome
٢٥
(25)
But those who break the covenant of Allāh after contracting it and sever that which Allāh has ordered to be joined and spread corruption on earth - for them is the curse, and they will have the worst home.

ٱللَّهُ
al-lahuAllah
يَبْسُطُ
yabsuṭuextends
ٱلرِّزْقَ
l-riz'qathe provision
لِمَن
limanfor whom
يَشَآءُ
yashāuHe wills
وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ
wayaqdiruand restricts
وَفَرِحُوا۟
wafariḥūAnd they rejoice
بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
bil-ḥayatiin the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا
l-dun'yā(of) the world
وَمَا
wamāand nothing
ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ
l-ḥayatu(is) the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا
l-dun'yāof the world
فِى
in (comparison to)
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
l-ākhiratithe Hereafter
إِلَّا
illāexcept
مَتَـٰعٌۭ
matāʿunan enjoyment
٢٦
(26)
Allāh extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. And they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment.

وَيَقُولُ
wayaqūluAnd say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnathose who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarūdisbelieved
لَوْلَآ
lawlāWhy has not
أُنزِلَ
unzilabeen sent down
عَلَيْهِ
ʿalayhiupon him
ءَايَةٌۭ
āyatuna Sign
مِّن
minfrom
رَّبِّهِۦ ۗ
rabbihihis Lord
قُلْ
qulSay
إِنَّ
innaIndeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
يُضِلُّ
yuḍillulets go astray
مَن
manwhom
يَشَآءُ
yashāuHe wills
وَيَهْدِىٓ
wayahdīand guides
إِلَيْهِ
ilayhito Himself
مَنْ
manwhoever
أَنَابَ
anābaturns back
٢٧
(27)
And those who disbelieved say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, [O Muḥammad], "Indeed, Allāh leaves astray whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him] -

ٱلَّذِينَ

ءَامَنُوا۟

وَتَطْمَئِنُّ
wataṭma-innuand find satisfaction
قُلُوبُهُم
qulūbuhumtheir hearts
بِذِكْرِ
bidhik'riin the remembrance
ٱللَّهِ ۗ
l-lahi(of) Allah
أَلَا
alāNo doubt
بِذِكْرِ
bidhik'riin the remembrance
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi(of) Allah
تَطْمَئِنُّ
taṭma-innufind satisfaction
ٱلْقُلُوبُ
l-qulūbuthe hearts
٢٨
(28)
Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allāh. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allāh hearts are assured."

ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnaThose who
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanūbelieved
وَعَمِلُوا۟
waʿamilūand did
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ
l-ṣāliḥātirighteous deeds
طُوبَىٰ
ṭūbāblessedness
لَهُمْ
lahum(is) for them
وَحُسْنُ
waḥus'nuand a beautiful
مَـَٔابٍۢ
maābinplace of return
٢٩
(29)
Those who have believed and done righteous deeds - a good state is theirs and a good return.

كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhālikaThus
أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ
arsalnākaWe have sent you
فِىٓ
to
أُمَّةٍۢ
ummatina nation
قَدْ
qadverily
خَلَتْ
khalathave passed away
مِن
minfrom
قَبْلِهَآ
qablihābefore it
أُمَمٌۭ
umamunnations
لِّتَتْلُوَا۟
litatluwāso that you might recite
عَلَيْهِمُ
ʿalayhimuto them
ٱلَّذِىٓ
alladhīwhat
أَوْحَيْنَآ
awḥaynāWe revealed
إِلَيْكَ
ilaykato you
وَهُمْ
wahumwhile they
يَكْفُرُونَ
yakfurūnadisbelieve
بِٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۚ
bil-raḥmāniin the Most Gracious
قُلْ
qulSay
هُوَ
huwaHe
رَبِّى
rabbī(is) my Lord
لَآ
(there is) no
إِلَـٰهَ
ilāhagod
إِلَّا
illāexcept
هُوَ
huwaHim
عَلَيْهِ
ʿalayhiUpon Him
تَوَكَّلْتُ
tawakkaltuI put my trust
وَإِلَيْهِ
wa-ilayhiand to Him
مَتَابِ
matābi(is) my return
٣٠
(30)
Thus have We sent you to a community before which [other] communities have passed on so you might recite to them that which We revealed to you, while they disbelieve in the Most Merciful. Say, "He is my Lord; there is no deity except Him. Upon Him I rely, and to Him is my return."

سُيِّرَتْ
suyyiratcould be moved
بِهِ
bihiby it
ٱلْجِبَالُ
l-jibāluthe mountains
أَوْ
awor
قُطِّعَتْ
quṭṭiʿatcould be cloven asunder
بِهِ
bihiby it
ٱلْأَرْضُ
l-arḍuthe earth
أَوْ
awor
كُلِّمَ
kullimacould be made to speak
بِهِ
bihiby it
ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ۗ
l-mawtāthe dead
بَل
balNay
لِّلَّهِ
lillahiwith Allah
ٱلْأَمْرُ
l-amru(is) the command
جَمِيعًا ۗ
jamīʿanall
أَفَلَمْ
afalamThen do not
يَا۟يْـَٔسِ
yāy'asiknow
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnathose who
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
āmanūbelieve
أَن
anthat
لَّوْ
lawif
يَشَآءُ
yashāuhad willed
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahuAllah
لَهَدَى
lahadāsurely, He would have guided
ٱلنَّاسَ
l-nāsaall
جَمِيعًۭا ۗ
jamīʿanall of the mankind
وَلَا
walāAnd not
يَزَالُ
yazāluwill cease
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnathose who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarūdisbelieve
تُصِيبُهُم
tuṣībuhumto strike them
بِمَا
bimāfor what
صَنَعُوا۟
ṣanaʿūthey did
قَارِعَةٌ
qāriʿatuna disaster
أَوْ
awor
تَحُلُّ
taḥulluit settles
قَرِيبًۭا
qarībanclose
مِّن
minfrom
دَارِهِمْ
dārihimtheir homes
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattāuntil
يَأْتِىَ
yatiyacomes
وَعْدُ
waʿdu(the) promise
ٱللَّهِ ۚ
l-lahi(of) Allah
إِنَّ
innaIndeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
لَا
(will) not
يُخْلِفُ
yukh'lifufail
ٱلْمِيعَادَ
l-mīʿāda(in) the Promise
٣١
(31)
And if there was any Qur’ān [i.e., recitation] by which the mountains would be removed or the earth would be broken apart or the dead would be made to speak, [it would be this Qur’ān], but to Allāh belongs the affair entirely. Then have those who believed not accepted that had Allāh willed, He would have guided the people, all of them? And those who disbelieve do not cease to be struck, for what they have done, by calamity - or it will descend near their home - until there comes the promise of Allāh. Indeed, Allāh does not fail in [His] promise.

وَلَقَدِ
walaqadiAnd certainly
ٱسْتُهْزِئَ
us'tuh'zi-awere mocked
بِرُسُلٍۢ
birusulinMessengers
مِّن
minfrom
قَبْلِكَ
qablikabefore you
فَأَمْلَيْتُ
fa-amlaytubut I granted respite
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhīnato those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarūdisbelieved
ثُمَّ
thummathen
أَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖ
akhadhtuhumI seized them
فَكَيْفَ
fakayfaand how
كَانَ
kānawas
عِقَابِ
ʿiqābiMy penalty
٣٢
(32)
And already were [other] messengers ridiculed before you, and I extended the time of those who disbelieved; then I seized them, and how [terrible] was My penalty.

أَفَمَنْ
afamanIs then He Who
هُوَ
huwa(He)
قَآئِمٌ
qāimun(is) a Maintainer
عَلَىٰ
ʿalāof
كُلِّ
kullievery
نَفْسٍۭ
nafsinsoul
بِمَا
bimāfor what
كَسَبَتْ ۗ
kasabatit has earned
وَجَعَلُوا۟
wajaʿalūYet they ascribe
لِلَّهِ
lillahito Allah
شُرَكَآءَ
shurakāapartners
قُلْ
qulSay
سَمُّوهُمْ ۚ
sammūhumName them
أَمْ
amOr
تُنَبِّـُٔونَهُۥ
tunabbiūnahu(do) you inform Him
بِمَا
bimāof what
لَا
not
يَعْلَمُ
yaʿlamuHe knows
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
l-arḍithe earth
أَم
amor
بِظَـٰهِرٍۢ
biẓāhirinof the apparent
مِّنَ
minaof
ٱلْقَوْلِ ۗ
l-qawlithe words
بَلْ
balNay
زُيِّنَ
zuyyina(is) made fair-seeming
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhīnato those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarūdisbelieve
مَكْرُهُمْ
makruhumtheir plotting
وَصُدُّوا۟
waṣuddūand they are hindered
عَنِ
ʿanifrom
ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۗ
l-sabīlithe Path
وَمَن
wamanAnd whoever
يُضْلِلِ
yuḍ'lili(by) Allah
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahuAllah lets go astray
فَمَا
famāthen not
لَهُۥ
lahufor him
مِنْ
minany
هَادٍۢ
hādinguide
٣٣
(33)
Then is He who is a maintainer of every soul, [knowing] what it has earned, [like any other]? But to Allāh they have attributed partners. Say, "Name them. Or do you inform Him of that which He knows not upon the earth or of what is apparent [i.e., alleged] of speech?" Rather, their [own] plan has been made attractive to those who disbelieve, and they have been averted from the way. And whomever Allāh sends astray - there will be for him no guide.

ʿadhābun(is) a punishment
فِى
in
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
l-ḥayatithe life
ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ
l-dun'yā(of) the world
وَلَعَذَابُ
walaʿadhābuand surely the punishment
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
l-ākhirati(of) the Hereafter
أَشَقُّ ۖ
ashaqqu(is) harder
وَمَا
wamāAnd not
لَهُم
lahumfor them
مِّنَ
minaagainst
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahiAllah
مِن
minany
وَاقٍۢ
wāqindefender
٣٤
(34)
For them will be punishment in the life of [this] world, and the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe. And they will not have from Allāh any protector.

۞ مَّثَلُ
mathaluThe example
ٱلْجَنَّةِ
l-janatiof Paradise
ٱلَّتِى
allatīwhich
وُعِدَ
wuʿida(is) promised
ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ ۖ
l-mutaqūna(to) the righteous
تَجْرِى
tajrīflows
مِن
minfrom
تَحْتِهَا
taḥtihāunderneath it
ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۖ
l-anhāruthe rivers
أُكُلُهَا
ukuluhāIts food
دَآئِمٌۭ
dāimun(is) everlasting
وَظِلُّهَا ۚ
waẓilluhāand its shade
تِلْكَ
til'kaThis
عُقْبَى
ʿuq'bā(is the) end
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnaof those who
ٱتَّقَوا۟ ۖ
ittaqaw(are) righteous
وَّعُقْبَى
waʿuq'bāand (the) end
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīna(of) the disbelievers
ٱلنَّارُ
l-nāru(is) the Fire
٣٥
(35)
The example [i.e., description] of Paradise, which the righteous have been promised, is [that] beneath it rivers flow. Its fruit is lasting, and its shade. That is the consequence for the righteous, and the consequence for the disbelievers is the Fire.

وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīnaAnd those (to) whom
ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ
ātaynāhumuWe have given them
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ
l-kitābathe Book
يَفْرَحُونَ
yafraḥūnarejoice
بِمَآ
bimāat what
أُنزِلَ
unzilahas been revealed
إِلَيْكَ ۖ
ilaykato you
وَمِنَ
waminabut among
ٱلْأَحْزَابِ
l-aḥzābithe groups
مَن
man(those) who
يُنكِرُ
yunkirudeny
بَعْضَهُۥ ۚ
baʿḍahua part of it
قُلْ
qulSay
إِنَّمَآ
innamāOnly
أُمِرْتُ
umir'tuI have been commanded
أَنْ
anthat
أَعْبُدَ
aʿbudaI worship
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
وَلَآ
walāand not
أُشْرِكَ
ush'rikaI associate partners
بِهِۦٓ ۚ
bihiwith Him
إِلَيْهِ
ilayhiTo Him
أَدْعُوا۟
adʿūI call
وَإِلَيْهِ
wa-ilayhiand to Him
مَـَٔابِ
maābi(is) my return
٣٦
(36)
And [the believers among] those to whom We have given the [previous] Scripture rejoice at what has been revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], but among the [opposing] factions are those who deny part of it [i.e., the Qur’ān]. Say, "I have only been commanded to worship Allāh and not associate [anything] with Him. To Him I invite, and to Him is my return."

وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wakadhālikaAnd thus
أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ
anzalnāhuWe have revealed it
حُكْمًا
ḥuk'man(to be) a judgment of authority
عَرَبِيًّۭا ۚ
ʿarabiyyan(in) Arabic
وَلَئِنِ
wala-iniAnd if
ٱتَّبَعْتَ
ittabaʿtayou follow
أَهْوَآءَهُم
ahwāahumtheir desires
بَعْدَ
baʿdamāafter what
مَا
جَآءَكَ
jāakacame to you
مِنَ
minaof
ٱلْعِلْمِ
l-ʿil'mithe knowledge
مَا
not
لَكَ
lakafor you
مِنَ
minaagainst
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahiAllah
مِن
minany
وَلِىٍّۢ
waliyyinprotector
وَلَا
walāand not
وَاقٍۢ
wāqindefender
٣٧
(37)
And thus We have revealed it as an Arabic legislation. And if you should follow their inclinations after what has come to you of knowledge, you would not have against Allāh any ally or any protector.

وَلَقَدْ
walaqadAnd certainly
أَرْسَلْنَا
arsalnāWe sent
رُسُلًۭا
rusulanMessengers
مِّن
minfrom
قَبْلِكَ
qablikabefore you
وَجَعَلْنَا
wajaʿalnāand We made
لَهُمْ
lahumfor them
أَزْوَٰجًۭا
azwājanwives
وَذُرِّيَّةًۭ ۚ
wadhurriyyatanand offspring
وَمَا
wamāAnd not
كَانَ
kānawas
لِرَسُولٍ
lirasūlinfor a Messenger
أَن
anthat
يَأْتِىَ
yatiyahe comes
بِـَٔايَةٍ
biāyatinwith a sign
إِلَّا
illāexcept
بِإِذْنِ
bi-idh'niby the leave
ٱللَّهِ ۗ
l-lahi(of) Allah
لِكُلِّ
likulliFor everything
أَجَلٍۢ
ajalin(is) a time
كِتَابٌۭ
kitābunprescribed
٣٨
(38)
And We have already sent messengers before you and assigned to them wives and descendants. And it was not for a messenger to come with a sign except by permission of Allāh. For every term is a decree.

يَمْحُوا۟
yamḥū(Is) eliminated
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu(by) Allah
مَا
what
يَشَآءُ
yashāuHe wills
وَيُثْبِتُ ۖ
wayuth'bituand confirms
وَعِندَهُۥٓ
waʿindahuand with Him
أُمُّ
ummu(is) the Mother (of) the Book
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
l-kitābi(is) the Mother (of) the Book
٣٩
(39)
Allāh eliminates what He wills or confirms, and with Him is the Mother of the Book.

وَإِن
wa-inAnd whether
مَّا
(what)
نُرِيَنَّكَ
nuriyannakaWe show you
بَعْضَ
baʿḍaa part
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī(of) what
نَعِدُهُمْ
naʿiduhumWe have promised them
أَوْ
awor
نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ
natawaffayannakaWe cause you to die
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innamāso only
عَلَيْكَ
ʿalaykaon you
ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ
l-balāghu(is) the conveyance
وَعَلَيْنَا
waʿalaynāand on Us
ٱلْحِسَابُ
l-ḥisābu(is) the reckoning
٤٠
(40)
And whether We show you part of what We promise them or take you in death, upon you is only the [duty of] notification, and upon Us is the account.

ٱلْأَرْضَ
l-arḍa(to) the land
نَنقُصُهَا
nanquṣuhāreducing it
مِنْ
minfrom
أَطْرَافِهَا ۚ
aṭrāfihāits borders
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahuAnd Allah
يَحْكُمُ
yaḥkumujudges
لَا
(there is) no
مُعَقِّبَ
muʿaqqibaadjuster
لِحُكْمِهِۦ ۚ
liḥuk'mihi(of) His Judgment
وَهُوَ
wahuwaAnd He
سَرِيعُ
sarīʿu(is) Swift
ٱلْحِسَابِ
l-ḥisābi(in) the reckoning
٤١
(41)
Have they not seen that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders? And Allāh decides; there is no adjuster of His decision. And He is swift in account.

وَقَدْ
waqadAnd certainly
مَكَرَ
makaraplotted
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnathose who
مِن
min(were) from
قَبْلِهِمْ
qablihimbefore them
فَلِلَّهِ
falillahibut for Allah
ٱلْمَكْرُ
l-makru(is) the plot
جَمِيعًۭا ۖ
jamīʿanall
يَعْلَمُ
yaʿlamuHe knows
مَا
what
تَكْسِبُ
taksibuearns
كُلُّ
kulluevery
نَفْسٍۢ ۗ
nafsinsoul
وَسَيَعْلَمُ
wasayaʿlamuand will know
ٱلْكُفَّـٰرُ
l-kufāruthe disbelievers
لِمَنْ
limanfor whom
عُقْبَى
ʿuq'bā(is) the final
ٱلدَّارِ
l-dārithe home
٤٢
(42)
And those before them had plotted, but to Allāh belongs the plan entirely. He knows what every soul earns, and the disbelievers will know for whom is the final home.

وَيَقُولُ
wayaqūluAnd say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnathose who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarūdisbelieve
لَسْتَ
lastaYou are not
مُرْسَلًۭا ۚ
mur'salana Messenger
قُلْ
qulSay
كَفَىٰ
kafāSufficient
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi(is) Allah
شَهِيدًۢا
shahīdan(as) a Witness
بَيْنِى
baynībetween me
وَبَيْنَكُمْ
wabaynakumand between you
وَمَنْ
wamanand whoever
عِندَهُۥ
ʿindahu[he] has
عِلْمُ
ʿil'muknowledge
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
l-kitābi(of) the Book
٤٣
(43)
And those who have disbelieved say, "You are not a messenger." Say, [O Muḥammad], "Sufficient is Allāh as Witness between me and you, and [the witness of] whoever has knowledge of the Scripture."
