سَبَّحَ
sabbaḥaGlorifies
لِلَّهِ
lillahi[to] Allah
مَا
whatever
فِى
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwātithe heavens
وَمَا
wamāand whatever
فِى
(is) in
ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ
l-arḍithe earth
وَهُوَ
wahuwaAnd He
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
l-ʿazīzu(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmuthe All-Wise
١
(1)
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth exalts Allāh, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

هُوَ
huwaHe
ٱلَّذِىٓ
alladhī(is) the One Who
أَخْرَجَ
akhrajaexpelled
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnathose who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarūdisbelieved
مِنْ
minfrom
أَهْلِ
ahli(the) People
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
l-kitābi(of) the Scripture
مِن
minfrom
دِيَـٰرِهِمْ
diyārihimtheir homes
لِأَوَّلِ
li-awwaliat (the) first
ٱلْحَشْرِ ۚ
l-ḥashrigathering
مَا
Not
ظَنَنتُمْ
ẓanantumyou think
أَن
anthat
يَخْرُجُوا۟ ۖ
yakhrujūthey would leave
وَظَنُّوٓا۟
waẓannūand they thought
أَنَّهُم
annahumthat [they]
مَّانِعَتُهُمْ
māniʿatuhumwould defend them
حُصُونُهُم
ḥuṣūnuhumtheir fortresses
مِّنَ
minaagainst
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahiAllah
فَأَتَىٰهُمُ
fa-atāhumuBut came to them
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahuAllah
مِنْ
minfrom
حَيْثُ
ḥaythuwhere
لَمْ
lamnot
يَحْتَسِبُوا۟ ۖ
yaḥtasibūthey expected
وَقَذَفَ
waqadhafaand He cast
فِى
into
قُلُوبِهِمُ
qulūbihimutheir hearts
ٱلرُّعْبَ ۚ
l-ruʿ'ba[the] terror
يُخْرِبُونَ
yukh'ribūnathey destroyed
بُيُوتَهُم
buyūtahumtheir houses
بِأَيْدِيهِمْ
bi-aydīhimwith their hands
وَأَيْدِى
wa-aydīand the hands
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīna(of) the believers
فَٱعْتَبِرُوا۟
fa-iʿ'tabirūSo take a lesson
يَـٰٓأُو۟لِى
yāulīO those endowed
ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرِ
l-abṣāri(with) insight
٢
(2)
It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allāh; but [the decree of] Allāh came upon them from where they had not expected, and He cast terror into their hearts [so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision.

وَلَوْلَآ
walawlāAnd if not
أَن
an[that]
كَتَبَ
kataba(had) decreed
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahuAllah
عَلَيْهِمُ
ʿalayhimufor them
ٱلْجَلَآءَ
l-jalāathe exile
لَعَذَّبَهُمْ
laʿadhabahumcertainly He (would) have punished them
فِى
in
ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ
l-dun'yāthe world
وَلَهُمْ
walahumand for them
فِى
in
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
l-ākhiratithe Hereafter
عَذَابُ
ʿadhābu(is) a punishment
ٱلنَّارِ
l-nāri(of) the Fire
٣
(3)
And if not that Allāh had decreed for them evacuation, He would have punished them in [this] world, and for them in the Hereafter is the punishment of the Fire.

ذَٰلِكَ
dhālikaThat
بِأَنَّهُمْ
bi-annahum(is) because [they]
شَآقُّوا۟
shāqqūthey opposed
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۖ
warasūlahuand His Messenger
وَمَن
wamanAnd whoever
يُشَآقِّ
yushāqqiopposes
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
فَإِنَّ
fa-innathen indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
شَدِيدُ
shadīdu(is) severe
ٱلْعِقَابِ
l-ʿiqābi(in) penalty
٤
(4)
That is because they opposed Allāh and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allāh - then indeed, Allāh is severe in penalty.

مَا
Whatever
قَطَعْتُم
qaṭaʿtumyou cut down
مِّن
minof
لِّينَةٍ
līnatin(the) palm-trees
أَوْ
awor
تَرَكْتُمُوهَا
taraktumūhāyou left them
قَآئِمَةً
qāimatanstanding
عَلَىٰٓ
ʿalāon
أُصُولِهَا
uṣūlihātheir roots
فَبِإِذْنِ
fabi-idh'niit (was) by the permission
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi(of) Allah
وَلِيُخْزِىَ
waliyukh'ziyaand that He may disgrace
ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ
l-fāsiqīnathe defiantly disobedient
٥
(5)
Whatever you have cut down of [their] palm trees or left standing on their trunks - it was by permission of Allāh and so He would disgrace the defiantly disobedient.

وَمَآ
wamāAnd what
أَفَآءَ
afāa(was) restored
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu(by) Allah
عَلَىٰ
ʿalāto
رَسُولِهِۦ
rasūlihiHis Messenger
مِنْهُمْ
min'humfrom them
فَمَآ
famāthen not
أَوْجَفْتُمْ
awjaftumyou made expedition
عَلَيْهِ
ʿalayhifor it
مِنْ
minof
خَيْلٍۢ
khaylinhorses
وَلَا
walāand not
رِكَابٍۢ
rikābincamels
وَلَـٰكِنَّ
walākinnabut
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
يُسَلِّطُ
yusalliṭugives power
رُسُلَهُۥ
rusulahu(to) His Messengers
عَلَىٰ
ʿalāover
مَن
manwhom
يَشَآءُ ۚ
yashāuHe wills
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahuAnd Allah
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā(is) on
كُلِّ
kullievery
شَىْءٍۢ
shayinthing
قَدِيرٌۭ
qadīrunAll-Powerful
٦
(6)
And what Allāh restored [of property] to His Messenger from them - you did not spur for it [in an expedition] any horses or camels, but Allāh gives His messengers power over whom He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

مَّآ
What
أَفَآءَ
afāa(was) restored
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu(by) Allah
عَلَىٰ
ʿalāto
رَسُولِهِۦ
rasūlihiHis Messenger
مِنْ
minfrom
أَهْلِ
ahli(the) people
ٱلْقُرَىٰ
l-qurā(of) the towns
فَلِلَّهِ
falillahi(it is) for Allah
وَلِلرَّسُولِ
walilrrasūliand His Messenger
وَلِذِى
walidhīand for those
ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ
l-qur'bā(of) the kindred
وَٱلْيَتَـٰمَىٰ
wal-yatāmāand the orphans
وَٱلْمَسَـٰكِينِ
wal-masākīniand the needy
وَٱبْنِ
wa-ib'niand
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
l-sabīlithe wayfarer
كَىْ
kaythat
لَا
not
يَكُونَ
yakūnait becomes
دُولَةًۢ
dūlatana (perpetual) circulation
بَيْنَ
baynabetween
ٱلْأَغْنِيَآءِ
l-aghniyāithe rich
مِنكُمْ ۚ
minkumamong you
وَمَآ
wamāAnd whatever
ءَاتَىٰكُمُ
ātākumugives you
ٱلرَّسُولُ
l-rasūluthe Messenger
فَخُذُوهُ
fakhudhūhutake it
وَمَا
wamāand whatever
نَهَىٰكُمْ
nahākumhe forbids you
عَنْهُ
ʿanhufrom it
فَٱنتَهُوا۟ ۚ
fa-intahūrefrain
وَٱتَّقُوا۟
wa-ittaqūAnd fear
ٱللَّهَ ۖ
l-lahaAllah
إِنَّ
innaIndeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
شَدِيدُ
shadīdu(is) severe
ٱلْعِقَابِ
l-ʿiqābi(in) penalty
٧
(7)
And what Allāh restored to His Messenger from the people of the towns - it is for Allāh and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and orphans and the needy and the [stranded] traveler - so that it will not be a perpetual distribution among the rich from among you. And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allāh; indeed, Allāh is severe in penalty.

لِلْفُقَرَآءِ
lil'fuqarāiFor the poor
ٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَ
l-muhājirīnaemigrants
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnathose who
أُخْرِجُوا۟
ukh'rijūwere expelled
مِن
minfrom
دِيَـٰرِهِمْ
diyārihimtheir homes
وَأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ
wa-amwālihimand their properties
يَبْتَغُونَ
yabtaghūnaseeking
فَضْلًۭا
faḍlanbounty
مِّنَ
minafrom
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahiAllah
وَرِضْوَٰنًۭا
wariḍ'wānanand pleasure
وَيَنصُرُونَ
wayanṣurūnaand helping
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ ۚ
warasūlahuand His Messenger
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāikaThose
هُمُ
humuthey
ٱلصَّـٰدِقُونَ
l-ṣādiqūna(are) the truthful
٨
(8)
For the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allāh and [His] approval and supporting [the cause of] Allāh and His Messenger, [there is also a share]. Those are the truthful.

وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīnaAnd those who
تَبَوَّءُو
tabawwaūsettled
ٱلدَّارَ
l-dāra(in) the home
وَٱلْإِيمَـٰنَ
wal-īmānaand (accepted) faith
مِن
minfrom
قَبْلِهِمْ
qablihimbefore them
يُحِبُّونَ
yuḥibbūnalove
مَنْ
man(those) who
هَاجَرَ
hājaraemigrated
إِلَيْهِمْ
ilayhimto them
وَلَا
walāand not
يَجِدُونَ
yajidūnathey find
فِى
in
صُدُورِهِمْ
ṣudūrihimtheir breasts
حَاجَةًۭ
ḥājatanany want
مِّمَّآ
mimmāof what
أُوتُوا۟
ūtūthey were given
وَيُؤْثِرُونَ
wayu'thirūnabut prefer
عَلَىٰٓ
ʿalāover
أَنفُسِهِمْ
anfusihimthemselves
وَلَوْ
walaweven though
كَانَ
kānawas
بِهِمْ
bihimwith them
خَصَاصَةٌۭ ۚ
khaṣāṣatunpoverty
وَمَن
wamanAnd whoever
يُوقَ
yūqais saved
شُحَّ
shuḥḥa(from) stinginess
نَفْسِهِۦ
nafsihi(of) his soul
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulāikathen those
هُمُ
humu[they]
ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
l-muf'liḥūna(are) the successful ones
٩
(9)
And [also for] those who were settled in the Home [i.e.,al-Madīnah] and [adopted] the faith before them. They love those who emigrated to them and find not any want in their breasts of what they [i.e., the emigrants] were given but give [them] preference over themselves, even though they are in privation. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.

وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīnaAnd those who
جَآءُو
jāūcame
مِنۢ
minfrom
بَعْدِهِمْ
baʿdihimafter them
يَقُولُونَ
yaqūlūnathey say
رَبَّنَا
rabbanāOur Lord
ٱغْفِرْ
igh'firforgive
لَنَا
lanāus
وَلِإِخْوَٰنِنَا
wali-ikh'wānināand our brothers
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnawho
سَبَقُونَا
sabaqūnāpreceded us
بِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ
bil-īmāniin faith
وَلَا
walāand (do) not
تَجْعَلْ
tajʿalput
فِى
in
قُلُوبِنَا
qulūbināour hearts
غِلًّۭا
ghillanany rancor
لِّلَّذِينَ
lilladhīnatowards those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanūbelieved
رَبَّنَآ
rabbanāOur Lord
إِنَّكَ
innakaindeed You
رَءُوفٌۭ
raūfun(are) Full of Kindness
رَّحِيمٌ
raḥīmunMost Merciful
١٠
(10)
And [there is a share for] those who come after them, saying, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful."

۞ أَلَمْ
alamDo not
تَرَ
tarayou see
إِلَى
ilā[to]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnathose who
نَافَقُوا۟
nāfaqū(were) hypocrites
يَقُولُونَ
yaqūlūnasaying
لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمُ
li-ikh'wānihimuto their brothers
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnathose who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarūdisbelieved
مِنْ
minamong
أَهْلِ
ahlithe People
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
l-kitābi(of) the Scripture
لَئِنْ
la-inIf
أُخْرِجْتُمْ
ukh'rij'tumyou are expelled
لَنَخْرُجَنَّ
lanakhrujannasurely we will leave
مَعَكُمْ
maʿakumwith you
وَلَا
walāand not
نُطِيعُ
nuṭīʿuwe will obey
فِيكُمْ
fīkumconcerning you
أَحَدًا
aḥadananyone
أَبَدًۭا
abadanever
وَإِن
wa-inand if
قُوتِلْتُمْ
qūtil'tumyou are fought
لَنَنصُرَنَّكُمْ
lananṣurannakumcertainly we will help you
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahuAnd Allah
يَشْهَدُ
yashhadubears witness
إِنَّهُمْ
innahumthat they
لَكَـٰذِبُونَ
lakādhibūna(are) surely liars
١١
(11)
Have you not considered those who practice hypocrisy, saying to their brothers [i.e., associates] who have disbelieved among the People of the Scripture, "If you are expelled, we will surely leave with you, and we will not obey, in regard to you, anyone - ever; and if you are fought, we will surely aid you." But Allāh testifies that they are liars.

لَئِنْ
la-inIf
أُخْرِجُوا۟
ukh'rijūthey are expelled
لَا
not
يَخْرُجُونَ
yakhrujūnathey will leave
مَعَهُمْ
maʿahumwith them
وَلَئِن
wala-inand if
قُوتِلُوا۟
qūtilūthey are fought
لَا
not
يَنصُرُونَهُمْ
yanṣurūnahumthey will help them
وَلَئِن
wala-inAnd if
نَّصَرُوهُمْ
naṣarūhumthey help them
لَيُوَلُّنَّ
layuwallunnacertainly they will turn
ٱلْأَدْبَـٰرَ
l-adbāra(their) backs
ثُمَّ
thummathen
لَا
not
يُنصَرُونَ
yunṣarūnathey will be helped
١٢
(12)
If they are expelled, they will not leave with them, and if they are fought, they will not aid them. And [even] if they should aid them, they will surely turn their backs; then [thereafter] they will not be aided.

لَأَنتُمْ
la-antumCertainly you
أَشَدُّ
ashaddu(are) more intense
رَهْبَةًۭ
rahbatan(in) fear
فِى
in
صُدُورِهِم
ṣudūrihimtheir breasts
مِّنَ
minathan
ٱللَّهِ ۚ
l-lahiAllah
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālikaThat
بِأَنَّهُمْ
bi-annahum(is) because they
قَوْمٌۭ
qawmun(are) a people
لَّا
(who do) not
يَفْقَهُونَ
yafqahūnaunderstand
١٣
(13)
You [believers] are more fearful within their breasts than Allāh. That is because they are a people who do not understand.

لَا
Not
يُقَـٰتِلُونَكُمْ
yuqātilūnakumwill they fight you
جَمِيعًا
jamīʿanall
إِلَّا
illāexcept
فِى
in
قُرًۭى
qurantowns
مُّحَصَّنَةٍ
muḥaṣṣanatinfortified
أَوْ
awor
مِن
minfrom
وَرَآءِ
warāibehind
جُدُرٍۭ ۚ
judurinwalls
بَأْسُهُم
basuhumTheir violence
بَيْنَهُمْ
baynahumamong themselves
شَدِيدٌۭ ۚ
shadīdun(is) severe
تَحْسَبُهُمْ
taḥsabuhumYou think they
جَمِيعًۭا
jamīʿan(are) united
وَقُلُوبُهُمْ
waqulūbuhumbut their hearts
شَتَّىٰ ۚ
shattā(are) divided
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālikaThat
بِأَنَّهُمْ
bi-annahum(is) because they
قَوْمٌۭ
qawmun(are) a people
لَّا
not
يَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnathey reason
١٤
(14)
They will not fight you all except within fortified cities or from behind walls. Their violence [i.e., enmity] among themselves is severe. You think they are together, but their hearts are diverse. That is because they are a people who do not reason.

كَمَثَلِ
kamathaliLike (the) example
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna(of) those
مِن
minfrom
قَبْلِهِمْ
qablihimbefore them
قَرِيبًۭا ۖ
qarībanshortly
ذَاقُوا۟
dhāqūthey tasted
وَبَالَ
wabāla(the) evil result
أَمْرِهِمْ
amrihim(of) their affair
وَلَهُمْ
walahumand for them
عَذَابٌ
ʿadhābun(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌۭ
alīmunpainful
١٥
(15)
[Theirs is] like the example of those shortly before them: they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.

كَمَثَلِ
kamathaliLike (the) example
ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ
l-shayṭāni(of) the Shaitaan
إِذْ
idhwhen
قَالَ
qālahe says
لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ
lil'insānito man
ٱكْفُرْ
uk'furDisbelieve
فَلَمَّا
falammāBut when
كَفَرَ
kafarahe disbelieves
قَالَ
qālahe says
إِنِّى
innīIndeed, I am
بَرِىٓءٌۭ
barīondisassociated
مِّنكَ
minkafrom you
إِنِّىٓ
innīIndeed, [I]
أَخَافُ
akhāfuI fear
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
رَبَّ
rabba(the) Lord
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīna(of) the worlds
١٦
(16)
[The hypocrites are] like the example of Satan when he says to man, "Disbelieve." But when he disbelieves, he says, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I fear Allāh, Lord of the worlds."

فَكَانَ
fakānaSo will be
عَـٰقِبَتَهُمَآ
ʿāqibatahumā(the) end of both of them
أَنَّهُمَا
annahumāthat they
فِى
(will be) in
ٱلنَّارِ
l-nārithe Fire
خَـٰلِدَيْنِ
khālidayniabiding forever
فِيهَا ۚ
fīhātherein
وَذَٰلِكَ
wadhālikaAnd that
جَزَٰٓؤُا۟
jazāu(is the) recompense
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīna(of) the wrongdoers
١٧
(17)
So the outcome for both of them is that they will be in the Fire, abiding eternally therein. And that is the recompense of the wrongdoers.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
yāayyuhāO you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīnathose who(believe)
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanūbelieve
ٱتَّقُوا۟
ittaqūFear
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
وَلْتَنظُرْ
waltanẓurand let look
نَفْسٌۭ
nafsunevery soul
مَّا
what
قَدَّمَتْ
qaddamatit has sent forth
لِغَدٍۢ ۖ
lighadinfor tomorrow
وَٱتَّقُوا۟
wa-ittaqūand fear
ٱللَّهَ ۚ
l-lahaAllah
إِنَّ
innaIndeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
خَبِيرٌۢ
khabīrun(is) All-Aware
بِمَا
bimāof what
تَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnayou do
١٨
(18)
O you who have believed, fear Allāh. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allāh. Indeed, Allāh is Aware of what you do.

وَلَا
walāAnd (do) not
تَكُونُوا۟
takūnūbe
كَٱلَّذِينَ
ka-alladhīnalike those who
نَسُوا۟
nasūforgot
ٱللَّهَ
l-lahaAllah
فَأَنسَىٰهُمْ
fa-ansāhumso He made them forget
أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ
anfusahumthemselves
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāikaThose
هُمُ
humu[they]
ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ
l-fāsiqūna(are) the defiantly disobedient
١٩
(19)
And be not like those who forgot Allāh, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient.

لَا
Not
يَسْتَوِىٓ
yastawīequal
أَصْحَـٰبُ
aṣḥābu(are the) companions
ٱلنَّارِ
l-nāri(of) the Fire
وَأَصْحَـٰبُ
wa-aṣḥābuand (the) companions
ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۚ
l-janati(of) Paradise
أَصْحَـٰبُ
aṣḥābu(The) companions
ٱلْجَنَّةِ
l-janati(of) Paradise
هُمُ
humuthey
ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ
l-fāizūna(are) the achievers
٢٠
(20)
Not equal are the companions of the Fire and the companions of Paradise. The companions of Paradise - they are the attainers [of success].

لَوْ
lawIf
أَنزَلْنَا
anzalnāWe (had) sent down
هَـٰذَا
hādhāthis
ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
l-qur'ānaQuran
عَلَىٰ
ʿalāon
جَبَلٍۢ
jabalina mountain
لَّرَأَيْتَهُۥ
lara-aytahusurely you (would) have seen it
خَـٰشِعًۭا
khāshiʿanhumbled
مُّتَصَدِّعًۭا
mutaṣaddiʿanbreaking asunder
مِّنْ
minfrom
خَشْيَةِ
khashyati(the) fear
ٱللَّهِ ۚ
l-lahi(of) Allah
وَتِلْكَ
watil'kaAnd these
ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلُ
l-amthāluexamples
نَضْرِبُهَا
naḍribuhāWe present them
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnāsito the people
لَعَلَّهُمْ
laʿallahumso that they may
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkarūnagive thought
٢١
(21)
If We had sent down this Qur’ān upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and splitting from fear of Allāh. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought.

هُوَ
huwaHe
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu(is) Allah
ٱلَّذِى
alladhīthe One Who
لَآ
(there is) no
إِلَـٰهَ
ilāhagod
إِلَّا
illābut
هُوَ ۖ
huwaHe
عَـٰلِمُ
ʿālimu(the) All-Knower
ٱلْغَيْبِ
l-ghaybi(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ۖ
wal-shahādatiand the witnessed
هُوَ
huwaHe
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ
l-raḥmānu(is) the Most Gracious
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmuthe Most Merciful

(22)
He is Allāh, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

ٱلْمَلِكُ
l-malikuthe Sovereign
ٱلْقُدُّوسُ
l-qudūsuthe Holy One
ٱلسَّلَـٰمُ
l-salāmuthe Giver of Peace
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُ
l-mu'minuthe Giver of Security
ٱلْمُهَيْمِنُ
l-muhayminuthe Guardian
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
l-ʿazīzuthe All-Mighty
ٱلْجَبَّارُ
l-jabāruthe Irresistible
ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ
l-mutakabiruthe Supreme
سُبْحَـٰنَ
sub'ḥānaGlory (be to)
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahiAllah
عَمَّا
ʿammāfrom what
يُشْرِكُونَ
yush'rikūnathey associate (with Him)

(23)
He is Allāh, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Grantor of Security, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allāh above whatever they associate with Him.

ٱلْخَـٰلِقُ
l-khāliquthe Creator
ٱلْبَارِئُ
l-bāri-uthe Inventor
ٱلْمُصَوِّرُ ۖ
l-muṣawiruthe Fashioner
لَهُ
lahuFor Him
ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ
l-asmāu(are) the names
ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ
l-ḥus'nāthe beautiful
يُسَبِّحُ
yusabbiḥuGlorifies
لَهُۥ
lahuHim
مَا
whatever
فِى
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwātithe heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ
wal-arḍiand the earth
وَهُوَ
wahuwaAnd He
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
l-ʿazīzu(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmuthe All-Wise

(24)
He is Allāh, the Creator, the Producer, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
